Shopping Haul: Ulta & TJ Maxx
Woohoo, I absolutely LOVE shopping and I had an awesome turn out tonight. I caved in and went to Ulta to buy the Naked 2 palette and grabbed a Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful while I was there. I can't wait to use these products! I am going to do a blog post on each when I have time to work with them a little bit. After I went to Ulta I went to the TJ Maxx (my favorite store!) in the same plaza and found some cute items. I grabbed a few shirts, some tan shorts, and black leggings. I probably own 10 pairs of black leggings now haha! I went over to the shoes not expecting to buy any and I found these super adorable shoes for $10. $10!!!!! I just love TJ Maxx. I didn't spend more than $13 on any one article of clothing, I am such a bargain hunter! Do you guys like shopping at TJ Maxx and Marshalls? If you've never been there then I definitely recommend you stop by your local stores! If you like decorating I suggest you go to Home Goods as well.
Well, that's all for now! Thanks for reading!

NARS blush in Gaiety
NARS Blush in Gaiety ($28.00) - Sheer medium cotton candy pink. This is a new color for the NARS blush collection. This blush is very pink in the pan but has the perfect color when transferred onto your skin. When I picked up this blush I thought that it might be too powdery pink for my skin, but it gives such a beautiful color! It is silky smooth and when applied you are able to build the color to what you prefer without it looking cakey. It also is a great pink for people who experience pink blushes making them look red. The packaging is the same as always which I don't prefer since the finish on the packaging collects anything and everything and looks gross after a while. Other than that, I adore NARS and the products they come out with.

My First Birchbox April 2012
After receiving a few Glam Bags I decided that I would like to try out another beauty subscription. I had read so many amazing things about Birchbox so I decided to give it ago, especially after I saw that people received a full sized Tarte Lipsurgence in a previous box.
In my first Birchbox I received five products. The package arrived on April 16th which I received a couple days after I got my glam bag. Overall, I am not too impressed with my first box but I am definitely going to see what the next box provides since it won't be a welcome box. Hopefully I will get some products that will be useful. Now onto what I received!
Drugstore Foundations Swatches and Review
Going through my foundations, I decided to do a quick post about my current drugstore foundations. Foundation is a must in my make-up routine and finding an affordable foundation is definitely important. I have found that drugstore products can sometimes be just as good as high end, especially for foundations.
I have several foundations and like to mix up which ones I use whether it be my skin is not looking its best and I need more coverage or I have a little more color than I usually do. I truly believe that having the perfect base can make you feel better about yourself throughout the day. Continue reading to find out what I think about four different drugstore foundations that are currently in my collection!
Revlon Colorstay Makeup for Oily/Combination skin ($11.99) - Matte finish. This is a HEAVY duty foundation with a matte like finish. This foundation definitely covers my redness and blemishes with ease! To be honest, I don't like to use this often since I really think that it has a heavy feeling to it and it is noticeable that I am wearing foundation. I like to save this for when I know that my skin has no chance of looking flawless for a long time since this foundation is extremely long lasting. It was a favorite of mine until I discovered another foundation (continue reading to find out which one it is ;) ) Overall, I know lots of people who adore this foundation but it isn't the perfect one for me. I will rebuy in a darker color when this one runs out (I finished my last one but I purchased the wrong color this time around, DOH!)
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation ($7.99) - Dewy finish. This is a light foundation with nice coverage. I notice when applying swatches that this foundation is a lot more "runny" than the other foundations and took a much longer time to dry. I have oily skin so this does not last as long as some of my other foundations, but I usually don't wear a light foundation if I am going to be gone for a long time without being able to redo or touch up my makeup. It has nice pigmentation and is easy to blend into the skin.
L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Makeup ($8.99) - Small hint of shine. This foundation is a fan favorite and a favorite of mine. It blends on so nicely and has great pigmentation. It never feels like I am wearing makeup when I wear this foundation and I never feel like I need to reapply hours after I put it on. If you are looking for a nice, light, easy to apply, awesome coverage foundation then this is the one for you.
Neutrogena Healthy Skin ($11.99) - Dewy finish. My favorite!! I just love the way my skin looks after I apply this foundation. I always feel like I have perfect skin after I apply this foundation. It covers my redness and blemishes but doesn't make my skin look like I am wearing makeup, which I love. With a brush I blend this into my skin and set with a powder and BLAM! perfect skin. Love it!

All That Glitters is Gold: Seven Gold Nail Polishes
Hello loves! Today I have for you seven gold nail polishes which are all the ones in my nail polish collection. This post contains many different shades of gold, but of course they are all sparkly and glamorous!
1. China Glaze Champagne Bubbles - This polish reminds me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast (um, my favorite Disney movie of all time, I might add!) it's such a beautiful yellowish gold color.
2. theBalm Goldfinger - My favorite "true" gold (whenever I think of gold, I think of this shade).
3. NYX Gilded Glitter - So pretty over other nail polishes but looks just as nice alone! I really enjoy using this polish over a royal purple, truly SO beautiful!
4. OPI Glitzerland - This reminds me of goldfinger but it isn't as bold in my opinion, it's a nice subtle gold color.
5. OPI Warm & Fozzie - I guess this isn't truly gold, but I like to consider it in the family. It's a coppery color with flashes of iridescent gold.
6. ORLY Rage - I think this is definitely a fan favorite among most. It's a champagne-y/goldish color and one of my favorite for sure. If I can't decide what color to wear I always reach for this color!
7. Sinful Colors All About You - Grabbed this because I loved the uniqueness of color and it was super cheap. It is a very sparkly flashy color! Love it.

Wet N Wild Megalast Nail Color: Through the Grape Vine
Megalast Wet N Wild in Through the Grapevine ($1.99) - A beautiful fuchsia. I could go on and on about how much I ADORE this nail polish! The color is beautiful, yes, but the polish itself is amazing. I am not lying when I say I would trade in all of my Essie and OPI for the Wet N Wild Megalast equivalent. The brushes are great, the color is opaque in one coat, and the finish is just amazing. Best part? They're only $1.99! A TOTAL STEAL!

Hello everyone! Guess what I got today?! Yep, I got my April MyGlam bag. This months bag is all about a "girls night out". Overall, this was an awesome bag that had a variety of items and luckily there was more make-up items than skin and hair care (not really my favorite). If you want to learn more about what was featured in this bag, take a look at the pictures and video I made dedicated to this month's glam bag!

Spoiled Wet N' Wild Nail Color: Cougar Attack
Spoiled by Wet N' Wild Nail Color in Cougar Attack ($1.99) - A warm dark brown with copper sparkles. The formula for this polish isn't as smooth as non-glitter polishes but is decent. The warm brown color is pretty sheer and will definitely take a few coats if you want to use this alone, over another opaque color it would only take two or three coats based on what look you are looking for. The brush is one of the bigger brushes I have used for a polish!

Spoiled Wet N' Wild Nail Color: Shrimp on the Barbie
Hey loves. So I have a couple swatches of a nail polish I picked up from CVS the other day, I grabbed a few different colors but will be posting them individually!
Spoiled by Wet N' Wild Nail Color in Shrimp on the Barbie ($1.99) - Gorgeous Coraly Pink with flashes of gold iridescence. The formula is pretty good for this polish, a bit thick. The brush is a very big brush and the nail polish collects easily, though I like that you can get your whole nail with the brush.
